Once eligibility requirements are met, employees may purchase health care insurance for themselves and their families - fulfilling one of today's most critical needs. Beyond comprehensive medical care that includes prescription coverage, employees may also participate in plans that cover dental care and even vision care. Such programs are enhanced with a feature that enables employees to contribute on a pre-tax basis to a flexible spending account to pay for health care expenses that may not be covered under other plans.

Noland employees are offered the security of a defined benefit retirement plan, which guarantees vested participants a monthly retirement check for life. The costs of the plan are fully paid by the Company. In addition to the defined benefit retirement plan, Noland offers employees the popular 401(k) savings plan that allows participants to save for their retirement with pre-tax dollars. Noland employees also share a percentage of Company profits.

Noland University supports the company's business objectives by educating employees at every level, using a variety of training methods and formats. The curriculum encompasses on-the-job and product training, correspondence courses, formal classroom studies, video modules, and coursework at accredited learning institutions. Further, Noland University supports the manager with tools to identify development needs, set career goals, implement development plans, and provide effective coaching and counseling to individual employees.
