Translucent soaker tub by MAAX catches the eye of many.

MAAX Collections introduces an elegant soaker tub, catching the eye of industry professionals. The Moonlight Tub’s luxurious splendor would be a showpiece in any house.

Today, consumers want larger, deeper soaker tubs that allow them to be completely submerged in water without having to crouch down as needed when bathing in smaller tubs. And the claw foot tub of yesteryear is making a come back, influencing the design of fixtures today. MAAX Collections has found a way to incorporate both these design elements in its soaker tub.

The Moonlight Tub is made of translucent acrylic and is available in two colors--Lagoon Blue (shown) or Ice White. Measuring 77” x 37”, it sits on a handcrafted Charcoal wrought iron base and tilts slightly forward (front lip 24”, back lip 28”), allowing additional light to shine through for a more dramatic effect. This innovative tub is developed through an exclusive infusion process that uses heat and pressure to form the extra-smooth exterior shell.

It comes complete with a chrome waste and overflow with a center drain. To complement the tub, consumers have the option to purchase the matching Memoria faucet kit, available in solid brass, which includes a ¼ turn ceramic valve.

The award-winning Moonlight Tub received 2nd place in the “new product pavilion” contest at the 2002 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference, the world’s largest kitchen and bath industry event.
